Following breakfast today we spend a few hours in the Cooks Atelier with Marjorie Taylor. Marjorie has an interactive cooking school where you will be involved in preparing lunch. The Atelier is on the second floor of a lovely apartment in the middle of Beaune. This activity is non threatening for those who may not spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
Lunch is the result of your labours in the kitchen.
After lunch we travel to Meursault to a Tonnilliere (a barrel making facility) owned by Damy. The making of a wine barrel is a fascinating process and is an intriguing mixture of old and new technology.
Dinner is at Bistro Bourgogne a delightful bistro in the middle of Beaune.
